Are you drunk!?

So in the last week or so I have become the recipient of multiple inside jokes among Monica (my roommate)'s group of friends.

Last week at a party I'd had half of drink and everyone was already asking me if I was drunk. I say something slightly stupid and it's, "Ellen, are you drunk?" Now people say, "Are you drunk?" to me right as they walk into a room where there is clearly no drinking going on.

There is also a new one that began just today. I had an argument with one of the members of the group (who I happened to already dislike) and I told him he was stupid, which he was and everyone agrees, and now I've become known as the girl who argues anything with anyone. Someone will state their opinion and I'll state my opposite one and a second later, "Stop arguing, Ellen."

There are some smaller ones too, such as "...and it was a BIG mess" and "tap dancing slut" that would take way too long to explain.

While these might get annoying eventually, as of now they are pretty much just hilarious. The "stop arguing" one was a little offensive at first, but I'm getting used to it.

Overall, I think I like being part of these inside jokes, and I just wish I could think of some comebacks.

Now comments bitches, and "DON'T ARGUE!"

Yay for blogging! I like being part of "inside jokes" too, although sometimes people can take them a little to far and they do become offensive. But overall I think it means that people like you and think you can handle a joke.

The arguing thing is clearly a mccrary trait ... because i have the same problem :)
